Pleadings
Complaint
The complaint and entry fee
must be filed with the clerk of court or mailed and received by the clerk or
mailed by registered or certified mail to the clerk. (District Court. complaint

Within 90 days of this, the
summons and complaint must be served by the process server and the return of
service must be filed.
Answer
The defendant must serve the
answer within 20 days after service of the complaint on the defendant. [Note: Supplemental

Service].
Discovery
Interrogatories (governed by Mass.
R. Civ. P. 33)
Can be sent with or after
